“If I can help someone feel heard or distract them for even just one second, I have accomplished everything I will ever want as an artist.”
Jxke is emerging in the alternative Philadelphia and South Jersey space — a music scene known for creating some of the best pop-punk artists in recent years. While Jxke is making his own way with his latest single release, that’s only part of his musical journey.
Jxke found joy in live music from a young age. “It poured rain, thunderstorms, all on the lawn of Susquehanna Bank Center and no one cared at all,” he recalls the moment that solidified his own path into music. This Linkin Park, Incubus, and Mutemath show would be the beginning of his journey that would eventually lead him to create on his own.
"I want to create music that resonates with people, but also makes them want to go nuts live,” Jxke says.
Known for his work in bands like Spiritbreaker, Regrown, and TIRED HEARTS, Jxke tests his lengthy music experience in this solo endeavor. Having started his music journey at just age 7, he’s crafted his own sound that is influenced by musicians like Neck Deep and Turnstile. Plus, he’ll always have his musical roots in bands like Linkin Park and Blink-182.
From that cornerstone memory to his own journey, Jxke’s love and passion for music are at the core of everything he does. “It's a feeling you develop over time and your love just grows stronger,” he says.
